PLM Solution Specialist

Within his/her functional area, the PLM Solution Specialist role of the Product Structure/Bill of Material Product team is responsible to support the R&D units with the creation and release of production data. He/She contributes to and executes PLM projects with METTLER TOLEDO subsidiaries and drives and manages the following activities:
- Support of end-to-end solution from the creation of a Product Structure to the management and release of Engineering and Manufacturing BOMs,
- Provide tier 2 support (troubleshooting and resolving issues) in close collaboration with the power users (tier 1) in the units,
- Identify areas for improvement with regards to functionalities, performance, automation, user friendliness and robustness of the solutions,
- Contribute to the evolution of the global process template, design guidelines and design quality checks, collaborating with Product Owner, Solution Architect and Business Analyst,
- Maintain the necessary documentation to make the power users self-sufficient (i.e. user manual, process documentation),
- Maintain and execute test scripts,
- Support enhancement and upgrade projects during all phases until delivery to production.
What You Need to Succeed
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position,
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
- Ability to communicate across different teams (i.e., R&D, Operations),
- Independent, accurate way of working and understanding of complex processes and interdependencies, high problem solving ability,
- Excellent team player capabilities and communication skills,
- Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends,
- Good knowledge of PLM systems, CAD tools or ERP system is a plus.
