Technical Specialist
Location Nänikon, Canton of Zurich Date posted February 26, 2025 Job ID 18744- You produce and assemble "Engineer to order" solutions, including automated and robotic comparators.
- You execute installations and provide services, such as preventive maintenance and repairs worldwide.
- You plan and execute Service Marketing activities for comparator service products.
- You deliver education and training to end customers, the sales force, and field technicians on metrological equipment.
- You strive to understand customer needs and requirements.
- You serve as the contact point for all technical and quality-related issues concerning SPG Metrology, collecting and sorting incoming questions and demands, and determining the necessary follow-up actions
- You support the market introduction of new products.
- You hold a technical apprenticeship with a background in Mechanical and/or Electronics Engineering, complemented by additional continuous education (e.g., TS/FH, etc.).
- You have a minimum of 2-5 years of working experience in an international environment, ideally within a global matrix organization.
- You possess a strong service and selling mindset, along with a customer service-oriented attitude.
- You demonstrate a structured, accurate, efficient, proactive, and independent working style.
- You have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- You exhibit very good oral and written communication skills in English, with basic knowledge of German being essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- You are able and willing to travel up to 20-30%.
