    Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
    Our Process Solutions Strategic Product Group is responsible for driving the global growth of Mettler Toledo’s mass metrology business. We are a provider of market-leading high-precision equipment for weight calibration, consisting of automated and robotic mass comparators, and related services. The product group is part of our global Laboratory Weighing business.

    In the context of our business development strategies, we are looking for a customer oriented and pro-active Technical Specialist 100% (all genders).

    From day one, you will be part of our international team, and you will be involved in the realization of engineer-to-order products and support the global growth of service product sales.

    In this role, your responsibilities would include: 
    • You produce and assemble engineer-to-order solutions, including automated and robotic mass comparators.
    • You carry out installations and provide services such as preventive maintenance and repairs worldwide.
    • You support marketing activities for mass comparator service products.
    • You deliver education and training to end customers, the sales force, and field technicians on mass metrology equipment.
    • You strive to understand customer needs and requirements. 
    • You serve as the contact point for all technical and quality-related issues concerning the mass metrology business, collecting and sorting incoming questions and requests, and determining the necessary follow-up actions.
    • You support the market introduction of new products.
    What You Need to Succeed
    Following requirements are necessary for this role:
    • You hold a technical apprenticeship with a background in Mechanical and/or Electronics Engineering, complemented by additional continuous education (e.g., TS/FH, etc.).
    • You have a minimum of 2-5 years of working experience in an international environment, ideally within a global matrix organization.
    • You are able and willing to travel up to 20-30%.
    • You possess a strong service and selling mindset, along with a customer service-oriented attitude.
    • You demonstrate a structured, accurate, efficient, proactive, and independent working style.
    • You have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • You exhibit very good oral and written communication skills in English, with basic knowledge of German being essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
