XR Product Line Inspection Manager
Location Lutz, Florida Date posted February 10, 2025 Job ID 18660- Together with SLXR and the Sales department of PIUS-MO, manage the X-Ray Inspection product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution in the Americas.
- Support the Sales and Service departments of PIUS-MO in growing the profitable X-Ray Inspection Product and Service sales through the MT PI sales channels and for meeting/exceeding product line sales and profitability targets.
- Provide support and inspiration to the Marketing and the Strategic Business Unit, in all efforts to generate leads and sales tools, to support the sales of X-Ray Inspection products and Service.
- Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by regular customer visits.
- Become an expert with respect to the competition and the market and share this expertise within the PI Division.
- In conjunction with the SLXR and PIUS-MO Sales management, develop and implement new product launch programs.
- Develop and maintain pricing structure for the entire X-Ray Inspection Product portfolio and propose price increases on a periodic basis, based on competitive strengths and market developments. All pricing initiatives and amendments are to be approved by the GM.
- Travel to customer sites with Regional Sales Managers and Sales Reps as needed to support the profitable growth of the X-Ray Inspection business segment.
- Act as a liaison between PIUS-MO and its internal Mettler Toledo suppliers as needed to support the growth and profitability targets.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Act as a leader within the company
- Experience in Sales of capital equipment to the food industry
- Technical background combined with Commercial training and experience
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 10 years of business/technical experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager
- Demonstrated success developing and executing product line growth strategies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
