Global Process Engineer for MES
Location Columbus, Ohio Date posted November 08, 2024 Job ID 17098- Develop and maintain global MES standards and best practices to ensure consistent implementation across all manufacturing facilities.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to design and implement MES architecture that aligns with business objectives.
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend MES solutions that enhance productivity and quality.
- Lead MES project initiatives from conception through implementation, including requirements gathering, system configuration, and user training.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for MES applications, ensuring minimal disruption to production processes.
- Monitor and report on MES performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer Science or a similar education and at least 3 years of work experience in process engineering preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Should have a flair for IT and its increasing complexity.
- Familiar with proactive leadership and teamwork with international teams and diverse cultures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience with MES software and integration with ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems and related technologies.
