CNC Plasma Operator
Location Columbus, Ohio, United States Date posted June 17, 2025 Job ID 19643- Complete daily work from a production schedule utilizing blueprints, standard work, and work instructions
- Accurately enter data into the MRP (e.g. SAP) system and ensure that inventory is accurately stated
- Maintain quality throughout the process Conduct daily preventative maintenance on machinery
- Maintain stock control, pull items for orders, work in other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer orders
- Actively participate in facility 5S and lean initiatives
- Operate fork trucks and cranes
- Perform daily activities safely Identify and implement safety improvements
- Experience in manufacturing and warehouse environments, including setup and operation of Plasma CNC machines.
- Ability to read and interpret standard blueprints, engineered documentation, and measurement tools such as tape measures, with understanding of fractions and decimals.
- Skilled in using various tools including torches, cutters, staplers, hand and pneumatic tools, as well as working with fixtures.
- Competent in safely operating Jib and overhead bridge cranes and forklifts.
- Ability to perform quality inspections on own work and that of others, ensuring customer quality and delivery requirements are met.
- Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality, with strong verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Basic computer proficiency involving SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, showing strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including some weekends when required.
