Software Engineer Senior-Test

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver end to end Testing functionality for non- funtional requirements of the software system in  context of System Testing, in areas of Performance, Load and Reliability for new product development.
  • Develop and maintain performance testing infrastructure and tools, as required for the program needs
  • Participate in Requirment Analysis, task management, work breakdown, estimation, scheduling and support PI planning.
  • Identify risks and dependecies early in program and follow through  for logical closure with stakeholders.
  • Design, implement and maintain reusable automated tests
  • Implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization.
  • Meet the quality, cost and schedule target for your projects
  • Idenity, monitor and handle the dependencies and risks
  • Help the team to troubleshoot the issues. Perform root cause analysis for the major issues.
  • Ensure content and structure of all testing artifacts are documented and maintained.
  • Track and report the testing metrics like test case pass results, test case coverage, discovered defects and baseline the metrics.
  • Share ideas to improve test methods and contribute to the reviews
  • Adhere to development coding standards and recommend continuous improvement of processes for test automation.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders across time zones
  • Keep yourself updated with latest industry developments in Testing domain.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field.
  • Work Experience: 8+ years of experience in Performance testing, with a proven experience of large-scale distributed software systems.
  • Rich experience in handling non-functional requirements of the system in context of System Testing in Performance, Load and Reliability for new product development.
  • Rich experience in planning, designing, implementing and maintain non-functional tests in performance, load and reliability for large scale distributed software systems.
  • Develop and maintain performance testing infrastructure and tools.Rich experience in the infratructure and tools like GrafanaK6 or Jmeter or any equivalent tools.
  • Good understanding about testing process, test design techniques, defect management ,risk and dependency management.
  • Experience and proficiency in deploying and securing container-based systems such as Docker or Kubernetes on private and public clouds
  • Experience in programming languages such as C#/.Net, javascripts
  • Highly skilled in building test automation frameworks with focus on System Performance testing with experience in automated test suite integration with CICD pipelines
  • Familiarity with advanced concepts of computer architecture, microservices (load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, networking), data structures and standard programming practices
  • Familiarity with phase models and agile methods 
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (preferably in Azure DevOps)
  • Experience working with code repositories such as GitHub / TFS-GIT
  • Good Understanding of databases and services
  • Define and Drive Metrics based Performance Testing and reporting
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)

Nice to have skill / experience:

  • Familiarity with BDD - SpecFlow and Gherkin is a plus
  • Experience with automated configuration management and provisioning frameworks is a plus
  • Experience in Test automations in UI, Back end tests is a plus
  • Test -Certifications, if any.
