Accountmanager Labo Pipetten

Location Brussels, Brussels Capital Date posted March 02, 2025 Job ID 18745
Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The pharmaceutical lab working on a new drug. The hospital laboratory that performs analyses for patients. A biochemistry lab that carries out assignments for biotechnology companies. A distribution company that develops new plant varieties. A chemical customer that makes pesticides. Your customers in the world of liquid handling (pipetting) are super diverse. As an account manager, you advise them on our technical solutions on site or by phone and online meetings, which you then translate into offers and quotations. Pull out your commercial skills. Because are you achieving your sales targets? Then a nice bonus will come your way!

As a field sales account manager, you'll be selling our Rainin pipette solutions that a wide variety of laboratories use to process and move liquids of all shapes and sizes. That is why, after your extensive onboarding process, you will follow various product and sales training courses (online or at our training location in Oakland USA) to get to know these products well. And to be able to provide excellent advice to your customers.

You actively visit our customers as well as through online meetings to sell our products and advise customers. For example, you visit a lab technician for a pipette solution? Then you keep asking. We have several types of pipettes and tips, so it's all about finding out exactly what the customer wants to achieve, after which you advise on the best solution. What makes your job extra challenging and varied is that you not only follow up on incoming leads, but also manage the entire quotation process. Think of developing, sending and following up quotations (with the support of the Inside Sales department) to closing the sales order and delivering the products. So, you are responsible from A to Z for the entire sales process in your own customer base. And do you have a healthy ambition? Great! Because this position offers you plenty of development opportunities and growth opportunities.

What You Need to Succeed
Your communication skills will come in handy in this position. You are sales-driven and like to achieve results. You speak to a variety of customers at different levels. One time you advise an analyst at a pharma laboratory about a one-channel pipette, the other time you spar with a director in the international biotechnology company about the quotation you have drawn up. Thanks to your commercial insight, customer-oriented attitude and persuasiveness, you know how to achieve your targets. Furthermore, you can work well together, but also excellently independently.

What else do you have?
You have completed a bachelor’s degree in lab or (bio)chemistry, biology or related;
You have an affinity with the technology and/or experience within a technical or Lab role. This comes in handy in your contacts with customers in analytical chemistry, such as highly skilled lab technicians;
You have some experience with (technical) sales (pré);
You are good at French and English, Dutch knowledge is an advantage;
You are aware of digital developments (Teams, webinars, social media) and you like to approach your work in an innovative way;
You are a real team player and used to working in a structured way and achieving results together in a pleasant working environment.

Our Offer to You
A good salary, depending on your knowledge and experience. Supplemented with nice bonuses if you achieve your sales targets;
A permanent contract;
The space and freedom to fill in your working days and contact with customers the way you want;
At least 20 vacation days and 6 recuperation days in the case of a full-time appointment;
A company car that you can use privately and a smartphone and laptop;
A good pension scheme;
Hospitalisation insurance;
13th month;
Plenty of development and growth opportunities. This way you follow interesting product and sales training courses and you make great steps within sales management or – if you want – even internationally!
