Facilities and Safety Supervisor
Location Worthington, Ohio Date posted April 14, 2025 Job ID 19175- Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance and housekeeping.
- Manage all phases of facility and maintenance projects to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and safe execution.
- Collaborate with departments to prioritize and address facility needs, maintaining open communication to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement safety policies to comply with regulations; conduct inspections and risk assessments.
- Maintain records of safety training, incidents, and maintenance activities; lead safety training sessions for staff.
- Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance and safety projects; act as contact for safety audits.
- Monitor the effectiveness of safety programs and operate heavy machinery like forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Promote company culture by aligning with values and maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
- A High School Diploma is required. An Associate Degree in Facility Management, Safety Management, or a related field.is preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant experience of maintenance, facility or safety experience. Previous leadership experience is preferred.
- Strong people skills with a collaborative work style and commitment to completion.
- Inspiring leadership abilities that foster quality culture and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP, with quick learning abilities.
- Experienced in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
- Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices.
- Understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and environmental laws for compliance.
- Capable of leading and training teams in safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks independently while using facility management software.
