    Facilities and Safety Supervisor

    Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
    The Facilities and Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and safety of the facility, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and compliance with relevant safety regulations. This role involves managing facility operations, leading a team of maintenance personnel, and implementing safety programs that protect staff and visitors. 

    • Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance and housekeeping. 
    • Manage all phases of facility and maintenance projects to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and safe execution. 
    • Collaborate with departments to prioritize and address facility needs, maintaining open communication to enhance operational efficiency. 
    • Develop and implement safety policies to comply with regulations; conduct inspections and risk assessments. 
    • Maintain records of safety training, incidents, and maintenance activities; lead safety training sessions for staff. 
    • Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance and safety projects; act as contact for safety audits. 
    • Monitor the effectiveness of safety programs and operate heavy machinery like forklifts and scissor lifts. 
    • Promote company culture by aligning with values and maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
    What You Need to Succeed
    • A High School Diploma is required. An Associate Degree in Facility Management, Safety Management, or a related field.is preferred. 
    • 2+ years of relevant experience of maintenance, facility or safety experience. Previous leadership experience is preferred. 
    • Strong people skills with a collaborative work style and commitment to completion. 
    • Inspiring leadership abilities that foster quality culture and continuous improvement. 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP, with quick learning abilities. 
    • Experienced in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. 
    • Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices. 
    • Understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and environmental laws for compliance. 
    • Capable of leading and training teams in safety practices and emergency procedures. 
    • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. 
    • Skilled in managing multiple tasks independently while using facility management software.
