Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a IT 2nd Level Support (all genders) to become a key member of our Mechanical Design Automation Product team. In this role, you will play an essential part in assisting our R&D units with the creation and release of production data while actively contributing to PLM projects across METTLER TOLEDO subsidiaries worldwide. This position is designed to provide support to the American market.

Please note that this role requires a daily start time between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM.

Internal job title, that will appear on the contract is PLM Solution Specialist.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end solution from creating product designs in 3D Mechanical CAD systems (Creo and Inventor) to releasing them in our global PLM System (Teamcenter),
  • Provide tier 2 support (troubleshooting and resolving issues) in close collaboration with power users (tier 1),
  • Identify improvement areas in functionalities, performance, automation, user-friendliness, and solution robustness,
  • Contribute to the evolution of global process templates, design guidelines, and quality checks in collaboration with Product Owner, Solution Architect, and Business Analyst,
  • Support installation of MCAD applications including Teamcenter integrations for end-user clients,
  • Maintain documentation to empower power users (user manuals, process documentation) and execute test scripts,
  • Support enhancement and upgrade projects through all phases until production delivery,
  • Conduct user training for new and refreshed functionalities.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level),
  • Familiarity with change management processes (CMII, ITIL, or similar) and experience developing installation scripts for global distribution is desirable,
  • Independent and precise work style with strong problem-solving skills and understanding of complex processes and interdependencies, 
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills across different teams and regions (R&D, Operations), 
  • Knowledge of PLM systems (Siemens Teamcenter is a plus),
  • Proficient in CAD for mechanical systems (PTC Creo preferred; Autodesk Inventor a plus).

The recruitment process consists of the following steps:
  • CV selection – we contact selected candidates
  • Phone screening with a recruiter (approx. 15 min)
  • Initial interview with the Manager and Recruiter (video conference, approx. 1 hour)
  • F2F meeting at the office (1 hour).
