Development Engineer – Sensor System Design / Modeling and Algorithms
Location Urdorf, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland Date posted October 24, 2025 Job ID 20504- You develop models and algorithms for signal processing and data analysis.
- You collaborate with hardware and software engineers to optimize sensor integration.
- You design, implement, and test embedded software modules.
- You participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- You define and document system architecture and requirements.
- You derive components and system specifications, take care of proper technical documentation.
- You design verification plans, and support product verification, validation and debugging activities.
- You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- You have experience with system engineering and requirements engineering, coupled with strong programming skills in C/C++ and experience in embedded systems development and programming.
- You have knowledge of data science and neural network implementation, along with an understanding of sensor technologies, ideally for biotechnology and embedded sensor applications.
- Experience in Linux kernel architecture is highly desired.
- Furthermore you are fluent in English, and German is a huge advantage.
