Service Engineer

This position is responsible for testing, calibrating, and repairing electrical, mechanical, electromechanical and electronic measuring, recording and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards.
- Sets up standard and special purpose measurement equipment in customers' facilities.
- Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.
- Aligns, repairs and replaces equipment parts and circuitry.
- Reassembles and calibrates instruments and equipment.
- Complies with ISO calibration standards when required by the customer.
- Installs new equipment in customers' facilities.
- Perform preventative maintenance on measurement instrument/equipment
- To liaise with relevant departments on service-related matters.
- To communicate unresolved problems and customer’s feedback to factory.
- Provide guidance and support to team members for on-site activities.
- Adhering to Company and Customers’ site safety policy and requirement.
REQUIREMENT
- A good diploma or degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A team player, meticulous and organized.
- Good knowledge in weighing scale, weigh module, tank scale, truck scale, checkweigher, metal detector and X-Ray would be preferred.
- Possesses a valid class 3 driving license and vehicle would be preferred.
