Smart Manufacturing Engineer

- Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement using data-driven methodologies.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate IoT solutions and data analytics into manufacturing operations.
- Utilize machine learning and AI to enhance process controls and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new manufacturing technologies.
- Train and support manufacturing staff on new technologies and processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for management on performance and improvement initiatives.
- Act as retrofit coordinator for business and drive adoption of MT DBS tools (SAP/LMES).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role, preferably in a smart manufacturing environment (minimum 3 years).
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with IoT technologies, data analytics, and automation systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
