Team Lead Supply Chain
Location Nänikon, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland Date posted June 17, 2026 Job ID 22335- Ensure reliable end-to-end SCM operations and consistently meet customer service standards at the 3PL interface.
- Act as the first point of contact for SCM issues, providing hands-on troubleshooting and fast resolution.
- Coordinate escalated 2nd- and 3rd-level support topics with the wider MT global network.
- Manage the 3PL relationship operationally, ensuring accountability to agreed SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
- Drive the EU-HUB transformation through automation, digitalization, and process re-engineering.
- Analyze logistics and supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and improve productivity, throughput, and accuracy.
- Apply Lean and 5S methods, along with structured root cause analysis and CAPA/8D problem-solving, to eliminate waste and improve performance.
- Define, monitor, and act on KPIs to support data-driven decision-making and performance improvement.
- Partner with the 3PL and internal stakeholders to implement sustainable, scalable improvement initiatives across the EU-HUB.
- Develop and maintain SCM standards, ensure global process alignment, and lead continuous improvement and capability-building efforts.
- You have a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- You bring several years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations, including at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
- You have hands-on experience with SAP and Lean methodologies.
- Ideally you have knowledge of the 8D problem-solving process and agile management methods.
- You have a strong analytical mindset with a proactive, change-oriented approach and a proven ability to work with people, inspire them and deliver results.
- You are fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
