Global Procurement Excellence Compliance Specialist
Location Nänikon, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland Date posted August 06, 2026 Job ID 22631- Manage global and cross-functional projects of strategic importance with a focus on sustainability, environmental, and material compliance processes in procurement.
- Analyze complex compliance regulations, identify risks and implications for procurement, and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
- Develop and implement practical solutions and support approaches within the procurement organization.
- Drive progress by defining milestones, tracking actions, requesting regular updates, and ensuring follow-up with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, and external sources to align on compliance topics and break down complex requirements.
- Support the achievement of global targets through supplier outreach, coordination, and follow-up activities.
- Educate METTLER TOLEDO personnel and suppliers on relevant requirements and procedures through training, guidance, and clear communication.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Environmental & Sustainability Management, but open to candidates from other relevant fields such as, Business Administration or Engineering.
- Ideally experience in project management and compliance topics, preferably in a global manufacturing industry and/or procurement organization.
- Fast learner with eagerness to engage with compliance topics and comfortable navigating complex and broad regulatory texts.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-directed, independent work style with the ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and take ownership.
- Experience in PowerPoint and Excel is essential; SAP is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English across all hierarchy levels with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-cultural environments; German is an advantage.
