Solution Development Manager

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Whenever you want to measure pH, redox potential (ORP), ion concentration, conductivity, or dissolved oxygen (DO, BOD), METTLER TOLEDO supports you with years of experience in providing the necessary equipment. Our products are characterized by the highest quality, combined with simple, intuitive operation and ergonomic design.To strengthen at our global operational team the Headquarters in Greifensee-Nänikon, we are looking for an experienced and innovative Solution Development Manager 80-100% (all genders).

In this role, your responsibilities would include: 
  • You build and manage relationships with various suppliers and partners and ensure that these partnerships are productive and cost-effective.
  • You oversee cross-functional teams that typically include engineers, scientists, designers, and marketers. Facilitating collaboration among team members to ensure the successful execution of product development projects.
  • You ensure that products meet high-quality standards and regulatory requirements and implement quality control processes and addressing issues to maintain product excellence.
  • You utilize project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor product development projects. This involves setting timelines, milestones, and key performance indicators to track progress.
  • Furthermore, you are staying current with technological advancements in laboratory analytics and explore innovative solutions. You are encouraging a culture of innovation within the product development team to maintain a competitive edge.
  • You identify potential risks and challenges in the product development process and develop mitigation strategies as well as proactively addressing issues to minimize disruptions.
What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role: 
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree (Uni/FH) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
  • You have experience in a similar position with Project Management skills
  • You have excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to perform in stressful situations
  • Furthermore, you demonstrate excellent collaboration skills cross divisional in a global environment
  • We require fluent communication skills both oral and written in English any additional language is an advantage
