Software Verification Engineer

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
For our Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) division, which is the world's leading manufacturer of laboratory balances, we are looking for the Greifensee location, METTLER TOLEDO's global operational headquarters, for an enthusiastic Software Verification Engineer 80% – 100% (all genders) to join our R&D organization. 

In this role, your responsibilities would include:
  • You develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
  • You collaborate with development teams to understand application features and design effective testing strategies
  • You implement and manage test automation frameworks and tools
  • You execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement
  • You ensure comprehensive test coverage and documentation
  • You participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testability and quality
  • You stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and software testing
What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role: 
  • You have a higher degree in computer science or electrical engineering (Uni/ETH, FH) or comparable
  • You have least 3 years of professional experience software testing and software engineering, ideally in an industrial high-tech or within a product development environment
  • You have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) ,testing methodologies and software design patterns
  • You possess experience with test automation tools and frameworks
  • You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively in a team environment
  • You are proficient in C#
  • You speak English (knowledge of German is an advantage) and are motivated to work in an international environment
