Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Mettler Toledo has launched in 2023 the project “tHRive”, a multi-year HR transformation initiative, modernizing the HR capabilities to meet future business needs. After an extensive planning and vendor selection phase we are now getting ready for implementing harmonized HR processes, HR shared service capabilities and Workday, a modern, cloud-based HR technology suite. In this context, we are looking for a Project Planning and Execution Manager to support the global Program Core Team.

As the tHRive Implementation Project P&E Manager, you will, in collaboration with an external implementation partner, oversee the planning and execution of this 2-year implementation phase. You will work closely with the Program Core Team, sub-workstream teams and subject matter experts around the globe to ensure that projects milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your role will involve managing stakeholder communications, coordinating resources, and ensuring that all project requirements are met. HR Transformation Project Planner (all genders)

In this role, your responsibilities would include: 
  • In collaboration with the implementation partner and the Program Core Team, you are developing and managing an overall project plan, governance and execution for Technology implementation and Shared Service Center set up
  • You ensure project deliverables are provided in time and in required quality and coordinate with sub-project workstream leads and subject matter experts
  • You monitor project progress and performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion
  • You facilitate regular project meetings, provide updates on progress and address any issues or risks that arise
  • In collaboration with the Program Core Team, you will create a communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed about project developments and milestones and you ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, managing expectations and providing timely updates
  • In collaboration with the implementation partner you coordinate and implement a robust global training/testing schedule for key users and subject matter experts
  • You conduct project post-mortems to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements for future improvement and maintain documentation of project processes, outcomes, and lessons learned
What You Need to Succeed
For the successful execution of this role, we are looking for an open-minded, energetic and proactive person, who fulfills the following professional and personal requirements:
  • You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or in a related field
  • You bring 2 - 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in implementation roles with strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • You have experience in implementing global technologies, cloud-based systems and related integrations to Mettler Toledo’s IT infrastructure landscape
  • You have excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • You are fluent in English, other languages are a big plus
  • Willingness to work in a global team across several time zones
