Recruiting Specialist

- Lead hiring strategy discussions and provide market intelligence, talent insights, and recruiting recommendations.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
- Proactively identify, engage, and attract top talent through strategic sourcing and networking.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders throughout the hiring process.
- Assess candidate qualifications and present high-quality talent aligned with business needs. Leverage recruiting metrics, labor market trends, and industry insights to influence hiring decisions.
- Build relationships with universities, professional organizations, community groups, and external talent networks.
- Manage recruiting partners, referral programs, and other talent attraction initiatives.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience while promoting our employer brand.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Marketing, Business Administration is preferred.
- An understanding of human resources principles and practices.
- Minimum of 2 – 4 years of recruiting/staffing experience.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Tact, diplomacy and the ability to enlist the support of others are essential. Proven ability to work with all levels of employees required.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Outstanding time management skills and the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Proven PC skills and experience using various software packages are required, i.e. Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel. Experience in developing spreadsheets and Recruiting metrics is strongly preferred.
