Quality Control Technician - Level l (M - F 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Location Lutz, Florida Date posted March 31, 2025 Job ID 19079- Perform QC inspection and shipping requirements for metal detectors
- Test mechanical operation of equipment to ensure that it meets Safeline specifications
- Complete final Quality Assurance check list, PVC, and shipping documents.
- Photograph and document equipment being shipped
- Responsible for proper and safe packaging of equipment and movement to shipping Dept
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
- Maintains highest achievable 5S ratings throughout all areas of responsibility
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to QC and document performance, readings and settings on Performance Verification Certificate for metal detectors
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic hand tool operation and test equipment
- Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie Stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in a high paced environment
- Safety conscious
**OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS.**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in similar environment
