Packaging Clerk I (M - F 9:00AM - 5:30 PM)
Location Lutz, Florida Date posted April 07, 2025 Job ID 19136- Assist in preparing orders of low complexity, such as small boxes and crates. Perform Quality at The Source when staging materials.
- Collect and organize packaging materials, such as boxes, tape, protective wraps, wooden materials, and labels.
- Perform Quality at The Source when preparing materials for shipment.
- Utilize the disturbance tracker.
- Assist in following established packing procedures to support the accurate and efficient shipment of products.
- Ensure the areas are clean, neat, and organized at all times in accordance with our 5s guidelines.
- Identify any equipment issues and report defects or inconsistencies to the leadership team for further action.
- Perform basic documentation tasks such as labeling, delivery notes and dimension sheets.
- Support inventory accuracy through the use of the established processes.
- Utilize Kaizen Newspaper to identify continuous improvement (CI) opportunities.
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.
- Use Radio Frequency device to process and fulfill orders.
- Cycle Counting
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.

- Prior ERP experience SAP Preferred.
- Safety aware.
- Operate basic packaging tools (e.g., tape guns, shrink wrap).
- Good time management
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, push, pull for long periods throughout the day and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work in a high paced environment.
- Ability to consistently meet expectations.
- High school diploma or equivalent
