PO Order Manager
Location Lutz, Florida Date posted April 04, 2025 Job ID 19146- Ensure required customer inputs are provided by non-SAP MO's, and are appropriate (e.g., specifications, clarity of expectations and use, etc.)
- Without approval, dictate changes in production scheduling and planning, to Schedulers and Planners.
- Manage order acknowledgement process for non-SAP MO's
- Analyze E2E delivery performance with a focus of continuous improvement
- Manage customer visits and factory acceptance tests (FAT) for non-SAP MO's
- Provide the internal customers (MO's, including Service Organizations) with a single point of contact by managing all interactions from the point of PO sales order entry until the order has shipped.
- Liaise between the MO's and PO operations, including Engineering, Scheduling, Production, Purchasing, and Outbound.
- Proactively track and communicate status of orders in:
- Master Scheduling
- Engineering (EPO/MIRP)
- Fabrication, Production and WM Staging (FGPO)
- Outbound (Delivery/Shipments)
- Manage and communicate order status to satisfy customer requests dates to improve customer satisfaction
- Manage change orders and cancellations, and inform the internal customer of associated costs
- Occasionally, enter sales orders from non-SAP MT Marketing Organizations ("MO's") into CRM, and release into ECC according to defined process flow.
- Ability to work on-site in Mettler-Toledo office facility.
- Execute assigned projects as defined
- High energy and determination to resolve customer order issues.
- Good task and project management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Ability to provide informative and professional assistance when working with internal customers and co-workers, including maintaining positive interpersonal relationships which encourage openness.
- Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills to produce accurate, professional and error-free information
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to be a leader in dealing with multinational corporations.
- Maintain professional attitude with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (English, Spanish) a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred; High-school diploma required
- 3-5 years of experience in project management or working with internal stakeholders required
- SAP experience a plus
