Industrial Application and Technical Support Specialist
Location Columbus, Ohio Date posted January 15, 2025 Job ID 18369- Technical Support activities including, but not limited to providing in-depth application and technical support for the industrial business area while providing excellent customer service
- Adhere to client service level agreements Interfacing with our client base to identify and document functional requirement specifications for applications utilizing our product portfolio
- Creation of custom quotations
- Create and review technical bulletins, white papers and other documentation
- Assist and/or lead product-focused training activities
- Assist and/or participate in product introduction, phase in/out activities and other support functions.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Associates Degree in Engineering or other related technical field of study or equivalent work experience
- Three or more years of direct experience with industrial weighing equipment
- Two years or more of technical support or technical training experience
- Specific experience in the areas of weighing systems, data collection, communications or process control is a plus.
- Solid verbal (English) communication skills in both small and large group settings
- Strong written communication skills in both short and long format documents
- Demonstrated success in participating in diverse team environments
- Sound analytical and technical troubleshooting abilities
- The motivation, adaptability and professional qualities to be able to work in an environment with a minimal amount of supervision and guidance
- Senior level requires extensive experience or expertise in multiple product-focused specializations.
