CNC Plasma Fabricator
Location Columbus, Ohio, United States Date posted October 08, 2026 Job ID 23422- Complete daily production activities according to the production schedule, using blueprints, standard work procedures and work instructions.
- Accurately enter production and inventory data into the MRP system, including SAP and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Maintain product quality throughout the production process.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance on machinery and production equipment.
- Maintain stock control and pull materials and components required for customer orders.
- Support other departments and perform additional duties as needed to fulfill customer orders.
- Participate in facility-wide 5S and Lean initiatives. Safely operate forklifts, jib cranes and overhead cranes.
- Follow established safety procedures during all production activities.
- Identify potential safety concerns and contribute to improvements that promote a safe work environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of relevant fabrication/manufacturing experience, particularly with CNC Plasma operations. Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication or warehouse environment.
- Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC Plasma equipment.
- Experience safely operating forklifts. Experience safely operating jib and overhead bridge cranes.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and engineered drawings/documentation. Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, torches, cutters and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure and understand fractions, decimals and basic measurements.
- Ability to inspect completed work for quality, dimensions, and workmanship. Understanding of basic safety, quality and production procedures.
- Comfortable working as part of a cross-functional production team.
- Willingness to work overtime, including occasional weekends, based on production needs.
