Intern - System Test Engineer
Location Columbia, Maryland, United States Date posted March 03, 2026 Job ID 21330 Pay Range $21-$23- Complete a 10-12 week summer internship, working 40 hours per week
- Play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and precision of our laboratory automation and Real Time Analytics technology
- Work at the intersection of hardware and software, executing rigorous test protocols to validate automated testing, in- situ spectroscopy, and the hardware that controls them
- Hands-on opportunity on hardware (including optics, mechanical components, and electronics) and software to help deliver “Gold Standard” equipment used by scientists in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries worldwide
- Pursuing Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering or Computer Science, or other scientific/technical field
- Execute system-level tests to ensure hardware and software components meet strict performance and safety specifications
- Strong written, verbal, communications, and presentation skills Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Experience designing and updating test cases, scripts, and documentation to improve product quality and coverage
- Support the setup and maintenance of instruments and chemical reactor systems used for experimental verification Ability to collect and analyze test data to provide actionable insights into system stability and performance
