Field Service Technician
Location Calgary, Alberta, Canada Date posted April 01, 2026 Job ID 21270- Troubleshoot, install and repair all Mettler Toledo Products within Business Area.
- Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction.
- Complete installs, repairs, calibrations, customer training, performance verifications and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Order, install, return parts and manage repair parts cycle time.
- Participate in Service sales opportunities and assist with promoting service products.
- Establish and maintain a close working relationship with Regional Service Leader, Senior FSTs and Support Specialists.
- Comply with ISO & Measurement Canada standards when required by the customer.
- Responsible for resolving first line customer complaints and invoicing problems.
- Maintain productivity levels as determined by Regional Service Leader and in accordance with National standards.
- 2-year college diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation Technology, or Electrical, along with experience in technical support, troubleshooting, or installation within the industrial electronics technology sector.
- Interpret/read technical drawings and work instructions for the various products.
- Experience working within a customer facing service environment.
- Knowledge of Production packaging environments in the food industry.
- Able to lift, transport and place test weights and equipment of up to 20 Kg (testing of equipment may require movement of up to 300Kg in 20 Kg increments).
- Work flexible hours and provide on-call standby on a rotational basis.
- Travel to the USA for training biannually
- Willing to work overtime
