Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Process Analytics is a division within the METTLER TOLEDO Group and a leading provider of analytical measurement systems in chemical, pharma and related industries to improve safety and efficiency of production processes. Our high-quality products are developed and produced at the Urdorf site and sold worldwide by our own METTLER TOLEDO market organizations. 

Join our innovative team “New Technology Project” dedicated to creating advanced embedded sensor solutions that redefine technology standards. We are seeking a skilled Hardware Developer with a solid software background passionate about designing and developing cutting-edge sensor hardware. For the Urdorf location we are looking for a motivated Engineer- Electronics – Embedded Sensor Solutions 100% (all genders).

In this role, your responsibilities would include:
  • You design and develop hardware components for embedded sensor systems
  • You design, implement, and test embedded software modules
  • You collaborate closely with software and system engineers to ensure seamless integration
  • You conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing of sensor hardware
  • You optimize hardware and software design for performance, power consumption, and cost
  • You support product verification, validation, debugging, and documentation
What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role:
  • You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field. 
  • You have experience in embedded hardware design, particularly involving sensor technologies. 
  • A strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design is essential, along with familiarity with PCB design and layout tools. 
  • Additionally, you must demonstrate a solid understanding of embedded systems development and related communication protocols, backed by proven programming skills in C/C++. 
  • Experience in Linux kernel architecture is highly desired, and knowledge of FPGA design and programming is a plus.
  • Furthermore, you are fluent in English, and German is a huge advantage.
