Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Our Product Management team within the UV/Vis Spectrophotometry product group focuses on one of the most powerful and widely used analytical techniques. UV/Vis spectroscopy analyzes the interaction between light and matter by measuring how molecules in a sample absorb and transmit ultra-violet (UV) and visible (Vis) light. This technology plays a key role in many scientific and industrial fields, from quality control to research and development. To strengthen the team, we are currently offering an:

Internship in Product Marketing (50-60%) for 9 months.

Join us for this 9-month internship opportunity with flexible working days (about 3 days per week on average), with schedules typically arranged biweekly to align your needs with business requirements. This is an on-site position based at our global operational headquarters in Nänikon-Greifensee, providing a collaborative environment to engage directly with the team and projects.

This role centers on marketing within a scientific setting, making it ideal for individuals with a marketing background who have an interest or experience in the scientific field. Likewise, those pursuing a scien-tific education can thrive here if they have proven marketing experience.

Your main tasks:

Assist in developing and executing product marketing campaigns including creating guides, email-ers, and web content
Describe and visualize scientific workflows in laboratory settings
Conduct independent market participant analyses and evaluations
Support marketing efforts for CytoDirect and UV/Vis product lines, including content updates on mt.com and product data sheets
Provide general administrative support to Product Managers in their daily operations

What You Need to Succeed

Enrolled as a student in Marketing or a related field, or a completed apprenticeship (Lehre) or simi-lar qualification in a relevant area
Alternatively, pursuing a scientific degree with a strong background in marketing
Strong skills in desk research, with the ability to gather, analyze, and present new information effec-tively
Highly independent and reliable with a focus on quality
A proactive team player who integrates quickly into cross-functional teams
Excellent English skills are required; proficiency in German is beneficial
