End to End Improvement Engineer

Role/Purpose:
The End to End Improvement Engineer is responsible for understanding and driving improvement decisions by engaging multiple teams (PIUS-PO departments, SBUs, and MOs) to focus on the continuous improvement of the end to end process for PIUS-PO. Reporting directly to the End to End Transformation Manager, the End to End Improvement Engineer will provide subject matter expertise to all levels of the organization and a commitment to drive down customer lead times and improve on time deliveries by identifying and eliminating non-value added waste within processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage projects which which impact the full E2E process and provide SternDrive benefit.
- Advocate for communication excellence and drive engagement through global programs, such as SternDrive and MTPA, to share knowledge across other Mettler Toledo plants and emphasize continuous improvement.
- Work with our MOs to improve our Ease of Doing Business by engaging in activities which support our digitalization and automation transformation.
- Engage and facilitate cross functional teams in improvement Projects, Kaizen events, and Agile sprints to drive continuous improvement through consensus building and developing a One Team attitude.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and initiator of change for the End-to-End process across PIUS (PO and MO), develop current state and future state process maps, and drive initiatives to deliver the future state.
- Promote a culture that strongly values excellence in continuous improvement, quality, and bias to action by rewarding and recognizing achievements in these areas.
- Strategically plan and manage projects to deliver process improvements with established timelines and meet deadlines.
- Act as a key driver of change within the business and helps employees to learn, understand, adjust and grow with all business decisions and process improvements.
- Ability to work on-site in Mettler-Toledo office facility.
- Additional duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Proven ability to train up and down the organizational structure.
- Open and effective communication style, excellent public presentation skills, strong people skills, cross-organizational teamwork and the ability to interact with and influence the direction of key opinion leaders.
- Excellent writing skills.
This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
Minimum Education / Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar discipline
- Three (3) years in Engineering or Continuous Improvement, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
