Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

A Technical Assembler I will use a variety of hand/power tools, fixtures, work instructions, mechanical prints and electrical schematics to assemble Product Inspection equipment while meeting our safety and quality standards. What you will do:

Follow detailed mechanical prints, electrical schematics, parts lists, assembly instructions, processes and procedures
Construct product inspection equipment in accordance with Risk Assessment and Safe Mechanical and Electrical guidelines
Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and material to Assembly Lead and/or Assembly Manager
Document actions by completing quality checklists
Work with Engineering to understand our process capabilities and develop ideas that reduce costs and improve quality
Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing function
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Accurately track and record time spent on projects
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Follow detailed electrical and mechanical schematics, parts lists, assembly instructions, processes and procedures
Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed

High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years assembly experience
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
Quality and safety awareness
Good time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
Ability to consistently meet deadlines
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (i.e. stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time
Ability to work overtime
