Technical Assembler - 1st shift
Location Lutz, Florida, United States Date posted March 12, 2026 Job ID 21587- Follow detailed mechanical prints, electrical schematics, parts lists, assembly instructions, processes and procedures
- Construct product inspection equipment in accordance with Risk Assessment and Safe Mechanical and Electrical guidelines
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and material to Assembly Lead and/or Assembly Manager
- Document actions by completing quality checklists
- Work with Engineering to understand our process capabilities and develop ideas that reduce costs and improve quality
- Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing function
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Accurately track and record time spent on projects
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Follow detailed electrical and mechanical schematics, parts lists, assembly instructions, processes and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years assembly experience
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Quality and safety awareness
- Good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (i.e. stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work overtime
