Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be responsible for assembling medium-complexity, high-volume products while following detailed work instructions and quality standards. You’ll use hand tools to support testing and verification throughout the manufacturing process and will prepare, build, test, package precision measurement and electro-mechanical instruments used to monitor and measure liquid characteristics. What you will do:
  • Read and interpret medium-complexity assembly instructions, schematics, and blueprints. 
  • Assemble parts and products using a variety of hand and power tools, including wrenches, heat guns, soldering irons, potting dispensers, microscopes, screwdrivers, rivet guns, arbor presses, spot welders and multimeters. 
  • Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues to keep production moving smoothly. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area following 5S standards. 
  • Follow all required safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment. 
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals. 
  • Accurately document and record assembly activities and test results. 
  • Identify and promptly report process issues or disturbances to the Area Lead or leadership team. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality, recommend process improvements and complete required training. 
  • Print and apply labels and package finished products for shipment according to work instructions. 
  • Review and confirm production orders in SAP.
What You Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma or equivalent with further education such as technical/vocational school preferred. 
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience required. 
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools. 
  • Ability to solve problems of limited scope and complexity requiring basic interpretation of well-defined procedures and practices. 
  • Experience in electrical and electromechanical system level assemblies. 
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions. 
  • General understanding of Lean manufacturing and 5S concepts. 
  • Understanding of various material replenishment processes (JIT, Kitting, Kan-ban) is desired. 
  • Knowledge and ability to train other employees when necessary. 
  • SAP Experience preferred.
This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
