Join METTLER TOLEDO Safeline as a Buyer and play a crucial role in sourcing high-quality electrical and electronic components and materials that drive our market-leading Metal Detectors. Our products reach customers in over 140 countries worldwide, supported by a global team of more than 17,000 dedicated employees.

We're looking for a detail-oriented, strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a passion for building supplier relationships. What You'll Do

Source and identify suppliers for electrical and electronic components.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
Place and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.
Work closely with engineering and production teams on product needs.
Manage the procurement process and resolve supply chain issues.
Stay updated on market trends and new technologies.
Manage inventory to prevent shortages or excess stock.
Address quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
Handle End of Life and Last Time Buy components and maintain purchasing dashboards.

What You Need to Succeed

Degree or equivalent desirable in Supply Chain Management or Engineering
CIPS Qualified or working towards
Purchasing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience in Low-Cost Country Sourcing e.g. Asia and Eastern Europe
Confident in SAP, Power BI and other tools to develop reports and dashboards
