- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
- Place and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams on product needs.
- Manage the procurement process and resolve supply chain issues.
- Stay updated on market trends and new technologies.
- Manage inventory to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Address quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
- Handle End of Life and Last Time Buy components and maintain purchasing dashboards.
- Degree or equivalent desirable in Supply Chain Management or Engineering
- CIPS Qualified or working towards
- Purchasing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience in Low-Cost Country Sourcing e.g. Asia and Eastern Europe
- Confident in SAP, Power BI and other tools to develop reports and dashboards
