Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Key Purpose of the Role: Responsible for managing the debts of a company, ensuring timely payments of company debts.

Strategic Outcome: Integral part of the team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within a business.


Key Responsibilities

1) Credit Control: 

  • Liaison person for new credit requests and assist on client credit checks.
  • Managing and collecting debts from company debtors.
  • Assist on cash application.
  • Managing the collection of all payments and debts.
  • Responding to client inquiries.
  • Assist on providing relevant documents for the invoices.
  • Liaising with customers and the sales team.
  • Taking care customer database – Statement of account (SOA) & special requirement from customer related to SOA
  • Liaison person and work closely with operation team on day-to-day billing duties

2) Administration:
  • Perform administrative tasks as required to meet the department’s needs


What You Need to Succeed
Competencies:
  • Good Interpersonal and Verbal/Written Communication
  • Ability to prioritise and control own workload
  • Willing to learn with positive attitude and customer-oriented
  • Team player with good communication and strong initiative
  • Knowledge on SAP will be added advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office especially MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Results-driven and patient
  • High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
Technical Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:

Mandatory:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree preferable in Finance & Accounting, Business Administration and/or related/equivalent field
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in similar position (fresh graduate are welcome)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Words and Outlook
  • Proactive, take initiative and well organized
  • Efficient in solving problems, and working with diverse variables
