Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The Field Service Sales Representative supports service growth across the Southwest Region, based in Phoenix, by developing new business and expanding relationships with existing customers. The role focuses on selling value-added maintenance agreements, calibration and certification services, training, consulting, and other service solutions. Success will be measured by revenue growth, new account development, and the expansion of service opportunities tied to new equipment installations. This position works closely with Lab and Industrial sales and service teams to deliver tailored solutions and strengthen customer partnerships. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Travel regularly to customer sites and regional meetings to support sales activities 
  • Prospect for new customers, build relationships, and close service agreements 
  • Promote maintenance agreements and other service solutions to targeted accounts 
  • Develop and manage annual revenue goals and strategic account action plans 
  • Partner with Lab and Industrial sales and service teams to present differentiated solutions 
  • Prepare proposals, manage pricing, and support the administration of service agreements 
  • Coordinate customer account strategies and service offerings within the assigned territory 
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable industry regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements 
  • Manage customer opportunities, requirements, and account information in SAP CRM Prioritize sales activities, support onboarding and training, and maintain knowledge of service offerings and internal processes
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered 
  • At least five years of related experience and/or training preferred 
  • Formal training in sales techniques and account management required 
  • Prior sales experience and strong customer focus preferred 
  • Strong customer service, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience using CRM, ERP, or database systems; SAP experience preferred 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint 
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to identify issues and take corrective action independently 
  • Ability to collaborate professionally and effectively across departments and teams
