Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The Industrial Division is undergoing a major transformation as we shift from classical, device-oriented service models towards innovative, data driven digital services. With millions of sensors in the field producing valuable data, we now have the opportunity to unlock entirely new value for our customers and generate future revenue streams beyond traditional service offerings. 
You will join at a moment when we are moving from exploratory concepts and prototypes into scalable, customer validated solutions. This includes understanding the willingness to pay, identifying high value applications and shaping offerings that improve customer processes and efficiency. The environment is highly dynamic, innovation driven and ideal for someone who wants to shape the strategic direction of digital services in a global industrial context.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to drive the development and delivery of innovative digital service offerings. In this role, you shape customer centric solutions, validate them through targeted pilots und work closely with R&D, Sales and Operations to turn data-based concepts into scalable services. You help accelerate the shift from classical device-oriented service models to digital, value-adding solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of experience in digital business or product management and combines technical understanding with strong strategic and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and shape the digital service offering based on market needs, customer insights and strategic priorities.
  • Identify and prioritize high value use cases, ensuring commercial viability and relevance for global customers.
  • Translate customer requirements into precise user stories and technical specifications for R&D teams.
  • Evaluate early concepts, prototypes and exploratory ideas, integrating structured customer feedback.
  • Design, plan and execute targeted pilot projects to validate digital service concepts in real customer environments.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Sales, Operations and market organizations to ensure feasibility, scalability and business fit.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, manage backlog priorities and align releases with strategic business objectives.
  • Monitor product performance, customer satisfaction and adoption, driving continuous improvement and coordinating go to market activities.
What You Need to Succeed
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of experience in digital business, product management or a comparable field.
  • Proven track record in developing and launching digital products or services end to end.
  • Strong understanding of customer centric product development, lean startup principles and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to act as an effective interface between customers, R&D and business stakeholders.
  • Solid technical understanding in areas such as connectivity, IoT, data-based applications or algorithmic concepts.
  • Strong strategic and conceptual abilities, with experience translating diverse inputs into clear recommendations.
  • Experience with product metrics, experimentation methods, pilot evaluation or A/B testing.
  • Proficiency with digital platforms, integrations and tools such as Jira, Confluence or analytics environments; fluency in Englisch, German is a plus.
