Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Our Group Marketing & Communications team has an exciting opening for Head of Brand & Communications (100%)
In this role, your responsibilities will include: 
  • Own our global brand strategy, positioning, visual identity, and ensure consistent brand application across all channels, markets, and business units.
  • Develop communication and brand strategies that support business objectives and priorities, focusing on pragmatic optimization and continuous improvement within established corporate frameworks.
  • Develop tools, guidelines, training, and enablement initiatives that empower teams worldwide to create high-quality,on-brand content.
  • Champion employer branding and strengthen our corporate reputation with key internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Lead global creative services, including design, content, campaigns, and brand assets, delivering high-quality, channel-adapted digital content.
  • Promote innovative, digital-first content strategies that enhance engagement and brand discoverability in an AI-driven digital environment.
  • Establish, operationalize, and continuously strengthen the company's crisis communications framework: response protocols, stakeholder communications plans, media preparedness, and leadership training.
  • Partner with HR, Investor Relations, Legal, Senior Leadership to ensure consistent messaging across a global matrix organization.
  • Act as a visible "working leader," steering overarching brand initiatives while actively owning and executing key communication projects hands-on.
  • Build and lead an integrated team spanning Corporate Communications, Brand Management, Design, and Creative Services.
  • Define the team's vision, operating model, priorities, and ways of working.
  • Build a collaborative, high-performing global organization and develop talent, guiding the team into modern digital-first and AI-enabled communications.
  • Drive organizational alignment, accountability, and resource efficiency across the combined function.
What You Need to Succeed
The following requirements are necessary for this role:
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Corporate Communications, Brand Management, Marketing Communications, or related fields.
  • Proven experience leading global communications and brand functions within complex international or publicly traded matrix organizations; background in B2B, industrial, technology, or scientific environments is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with, advising, and influencing executive leadership and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic communications and executive messaging capabilities, paired with a pragmatic mindset to achieve measurable impact within defined budgets.
  • Deep expertise in brand strategy, brand governance, creative services, and digital content development.
  • Well-rounded experience across media relations, internal communications, reputation management, and crisis communications.
  • A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with exceptional stakeholder management across a global matrix organization.
  • Proven track record of shaping brand strategy and communications in the era of AI, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance content, creativity, customer engagement, and LLM discoverability while protecting brand integrity, trust, and reputation.
  • Experience leading organizational transformation, team integration, or significant change initiatives, successfully upskilling established teams toward modern communication practices.
  • Background in B2B, industrial, technology, scientific or healthcare is a plus.
  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Native-level English, written and spoken, with a proven ability to craft executive-level communications, thought leadership, and high-impact narratives for global audiences; German and or additional European languages are an advantage.
