Product Manager Metal Detection
Emplacement Lutz, Floride, États-Unis Date de publication 03 février 2026 ID de l'offre 21199- Collaborate with counterparts within PIUS-PO, the Metal Detection Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and the Marketing Organizations (MOs) served by PIUS-PO to identify strategies, market requirements, applications and product capabilities within the PLM framework.
- Product Owner for all PIUS-PO locally developed and maintained Metal Detection products leading Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) and Product Compliance programs, initiatives and deliverables.
- Lead industrialization efforts and is the local Product Owner for the deployment of any SBU / globally developed products for Metal Detection within PIUS-PO to efficiently and cost effectively bring those products to market on time, on budget, compliant to required standards with minimal disruptions utilizing PLM and AQP processes.
- Ensure profitability of the products produced within the PIUS-PO through active monitoring of margins, proactively identifying areas for improvement, formulating measures and executing plans to realize the benefit.
- Champion product definition, compliance and standardization through effective creation and management of Variant Configurators (VC), Offline Configurators (OLC), Technical Product Guides (TPG), Technical Construction Files (TCF) and other means needed for the efficient and profitable system creation with the minimal amount of effort and disruption to the organization.
- Work with Operations, Planning, Scheduling and Supply Chain Management on forecasts for critical components and assemblies along with manufacturing processes.
- Lead the cross discipline Metal Detection Value Stream Management Team to increase customer satisfaction through reduced problem machines and warranty events.
- Work with other disciplines within the MO and PO on service issues, special applications, custom offerings and options. Supports those organizations as required with channel partners and end user customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering and minimum of two years direct work experience in Engineering, Project or Product Management. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years direct work experience in an IT, Engineering, Project or Product Mgmt role is required.
- Sound product knowledge, experience in product inspection and/or the packaging industry preferred.
- Working knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM), Advanced Product Quality Planning (AQP), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), Engineering Change Management (ECM) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) based processes.
- Proficiency at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP.
- Sound writing, communication, and listening skills.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Ability to be self-motivated (show initiative, ability to deliver high quality work on time).
- Ability to work and achieve results in a collaborative team environment.
- Good problem-solving skills, ability to quickly assess situations, formulate and articulate required plans and actions.
- Ability to travel requirement of 10-20%. Travel could include both domestic and international travel (by commercial or personal means, including economy class air travel).
