Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
This business unit is our logistics hub in Europe and provides logistical services for METTLER TOLEDO in the worldwide service business and in the import and export of products. To strengthen the Supply Chain team in Nänikon-Greifensee, we are looking for a committed and self-driven personality as a Team Lead and Transformation Specialist 100% (all genders).

In this role, your responsibilities would include:
  • Coordinate the team's daily activities (workload distribution, priority setting, and escalation handling) to consistently meet quality and SLA expectations.
  • Maintain performance visibility through simple, consistent reporting (KPIs, trend signals, exceptions) that supports decisions rather than creating overhead.
  • Own development plans for team members: structured feedback, targeted upskilling, and growth conversations.
  • Act as the operational interface with internal customers and upstream/downstream stakeholders (commercial, planning, customer service, finance).
  • Transformation & continuous improvement.
  • Map and document tasks across workflows, standardize processes and create repeatable. operating procedures that reduce variability, error rates, and onboarding time.
  • Run bottleneck analyses; propose practical ways to eliminate, simplify, or automate low-value activities.
  • Contribute to change initiatives with both analytical rigor and hands-on implementation — from problem framing through go-live and stabilization.
  • Partner with the Department Head on the future operating model: team structure, activity scope, role design, and capability building.
  • Identify candidates for automation (RPA, workflow tooling, AI-augmented tasks) and work with IT/digital partners to bring them to life.

What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role:
  • You bring several years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or shared services operations, with at least 5 years of work experience in leading or coordinating a team.
  • You have hands-on SAP experience in order management and fulfillment (SD/MM modules).
  • Ideally you have knowledge in Power automate (M365), powerapps (M365), UIPath and Jira and you have collaborated with global IT teams, translated business needs into user stories, managed change requests, and drove solutions in a dynamic, global setting.
  • You have strong execution discipline, and you can comfort with ambiguity (you make progress without constant direction).
  • You are an analytical mindset, you are a clear communicator with operational resilience, and you are ambitious for results.
  • You are proficient in English; German is a plus.
Our Offer to You
We offer:
  • Flexible working hours (depending on the role), a hybrid work model, and a wide portfolio of training opportunities
  • A 40-hour work week with at least 25 vacation days per year, plus 4 to 7 additional days off between bank holidays
  • Free parking and direct access to public transport
  • Healthy lunches cooked onsite at our own METTLER TOLEDO restaurant, with special prices for employees
  • A range of additional attractive benefits, including employee discounts at select area businesses
You can expect challenging, interesting, and varied tasks in an innovative and international environment, with the opportunity to network globally and achieve your career goals.
