Internship - Business & Process Management
Location Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia Date posted October 10, 2025 Job ID 20420- Process mapping and analysis: Documenting existing workflows ("as-is" processes) to identify variations, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies. This involves collecting and analyzing data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and observing current operations.
- Solution development: Collaborating with teams to propose improvements, such as process redesign, standardization of documentation (like standard operating procedures or SOPs), or optimizing workflows.
- Project coordination: Supporting project managers by coordinating tasks, tracking timelines, and assisting with the execution of process improvement initiatives.
- Documentation and training: Helping to create training materials and new process documentation to ensure that changes are adopted effectively by the organization.
- Metrics and reporting: Aiding in the evaluation and communication of productivity metrics and measuring the impact of implemented changes.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or graduate degree program in Industrial Engineering or other related course.
- Technical skills: Proficiency with data analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel and experience with building presentations using software like PowerPoint.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate findings and facilitate changes with different stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: The ability to evaluate processes, interpret data, identify issues, and develop practical solutions.
- Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team with different departments and senior staff.
- Initiative: A self-motivated and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a matrix organizational structure.
- Internship period to be within 3-6 months duration.
