Health, Safety and Environmental Manager

- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement across all areas of the business.
- Provide training and support to employees on HSE best practices and local practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
- Lead HSE meetings and drive a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate HSE considerations into operational planning and decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in an HSE management role within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in HSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
