Intern - Marketing Communications
Location Columbia, Maryland Date posted March 19, 2025 Job ID 18923 Pay Range 43680 - 49920Ideal candidates for our internship program will use their skills/experience to:
·Complete a 10-12 week summer internship, working 30-hours per week
·Content creation:
Writing and editing social media content, website copy, newsletters, and other marketing materials aligned with brand guidelines.
·Social media management:
Scheduling and posting content across various social media platforms and monitoring engagement.
·Campaign support:
Assisting in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across different channels, including email marketing, paid advertising, and events.
·Design assistance:
Contributing to the visual design of marketing materials by collaborating with designers on creative assets.
·Video Production and Photography:
Assist in photography and video production. Basic understanding of setup and dismantling equipment such as cameras, tripods, and light stands.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications or Graphic Design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Suite Applications (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies
- Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Basic graphic design skills are a plus (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A brand name that is identified worldwide with precision, quality, and innovation
