Technical & Application Support Scientist
Location Columbus, Ohio, United States Date posted September 09, 2026 Job ID 22281- Provide primary phone support to end-users, sales personnel, and field service technicians on the instrument product lines.
- Document and communicate quality issues to the appropriate teams, and facilitate resolutions for our customers.
- Perform, document, and report on laboratory experiments in support of end-users, sales personnel, and marketing.
- Properly interact with SAP software and accurately record necessary contact, product, and sales information.
- Assist with development of marketing and technical materials.
- Assist in managing the laboratory inventory and in maintaining an organized and safe laboratory.
- Assist with product and application demonstrations and training to customers, sales, service, and other lab colleagues.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering from a four-year college or university, or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant experience with ERP and/or CRM systems; SAP preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Technical competence and knowledge depending on product line of support; applicable examples include engineering, biology, analytical chemistry, or material science.
- Some products of support strongly benefit with candidates with Laboratory experience with automated lab analytical instruments.
