Export Specialist
Location Worthington, Ohio, United States Date posted April 28, 2026 Job ID 21908- Coordinate and manage export and shipping documentation in line with customer, corporate, and U.S. regulations.
- Conduct Visual Compliance screenings for international shipments.
- Collaborate with carriers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Facilitate delivery consolidation and maintain accurate shipment records.
- Resolve order holds and internal errors promptly to prevent delays.
- Provide Level 1 HazMat shipping support and conduct monthly Hazmat training.
- Support lean process improvements and assist with general outbound logistics.
- Address shipment issues such as lost shipments or insurance claims.
- Offer customer support through various communication channels.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred, with prior experience in Order Coordination, Customer Service, or Export logistics considered advantageous.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn Microsoft Office and SAP.
- English fluency for business communication.
- Ability to handle customer, regulatory, and business inquiries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competence with business calculations such as discounts, margins, and currency conversions.
- High urgency, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Growth mindset and sound judgment to make data-driven decisions aligned with organizational goals.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Hazmat certification under 49 CFR and IATA preferred.
