Field Service Sales Representative
Location Wilmington, Delaware, United States Date posted June 03, 2026 Job ID 22225 Pay Range $85,000 - $95,000 base + commission- Travel regularly to customer sites and regional meetings to support sales activities and business growth.
- Prospect, develop relationships, and close comprehensive maintenance agreements with both existing and new customers.
- Promote and sell a complete range of value-added service products, including maintenance agreements and calibration services.
- Collaborate with Lab and Industrial Business Area teams to align sales efforts and present MT as a differentiated service provider.
- Manage customer accounts effectively, including proposal preparation, pricing administration, and coordination of service scope with sales representatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations (FDA, USP, ISO, etc.) and internal processes such as SAP CRM for effective sales and service operations
- Manage qualification and nurture activities, in their territory, that specifically includes contacting potential and existing customers
- Analyze and prioritize activities to focus on the highest potential opportunities for success.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in business, marketing, finance, or closely related discipline is preferred; or a minimum of two to three years sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Formal training in selling techniques and account management
- Strong customer service, analytical, and reasoning skills
- SAP knowledge/experience preferred, but some experience with ERP and/or CRM systems needed
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Must be a self-starter who will identify problems and initiate corrective actions without specific direction from management
