Product Manager Process Analytics Biotechnology
Location Urdorf, Canton of Zurich Date posted March 14, 2025 Job ID 18879- You develop market requirements, identify customer needs, define the product vision and portfolio strategy, and are responsible for the positioning of the products.
- You ensure continuous product development and innovation of the comprehensive O2, CO2, and cell characterization sensor portfolio. You define the use cases and value propositions for new products.
- You create the specifications for new products and work closely with the Research & Development department to determine technical specifications and manage commercial projects.
- You plan and implement global product launches.
- You are responsible for the maintenance and development of the assigned portfolio: phase-in/phase-out, growth, and quality, as well as market communication of corresponding changes.
- You develop creative marketing and sales materials for product launches and the promotion of existing products in collaboration with the marketing department.
- You support sales representatives in local subsidiaries with new product introductions, training, events, and customer training.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Engineering, , or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or relevant Master’s) is preferred
- You possess a keen sense for business opportunities, entrepreneurial thinking, and strong marketing knowledge, including customer benefits and value selling.
- You have practical knowledge of sensors used in the pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology.
- You demonstrate excellent networking abilities in an international environment and can communicate effectively with market organizations and customers, both verbally and in writing.
- You are highly self-motivated, with a conceptual approach to tasks and strong planning and organizational skills.
- We require professional communication skills in English, German is an advantage
- Willingness to travel about 15-20%
