Advanced Instrument Sales Specialist
Location Toronto, Ontario, Canada Date posted May 21, 2025 Job ID 19411- Work to meet annual targets by actively participating in account selection process and identifying key accounts while utilizing a variety of key account strategies.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to educate, inform, and solicit orders.
- Actively work to improve the quality and completeness of data within the CRM while utilizing the tool to manage all aspects of the sales process and pipeline for their territory.
- Actively participate in annual account selection and build a detailed penetration plan for designated accounts
- Actively participate in bi-weekly pipeline reviews and penetration plan reviews.
- Develop comprehensive territory review upon request at least once per year which includes market, channel, and competitive landscape, detailed penetration plan overview, and other key topics as required.
- Complete other non-customer reports and process on time (i.e. expenses, evaluations, and won/lost order reports).
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Master's degree in technical discipline (Chemistry), a PhD is preferred, along with 3 years of sales experience, preferably in technical instrument sales, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of hazard analysis and other process chemistry applications is required.
- Experience with ERP and of CRM systems, SAP preferred, along with proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Overnight travel requirements for this position may be up to 50%
- French language skills will be considered a plus
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
