Territory Sales Representative

Are you a dynamic sales professional ready to take ownership of your sales territory and drive business growth? We’re seeking an experienced Sales Territory Manager to join our team and make a meaningful impact through strategic sales and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow your own sales territory by managing sales targets, pipelines, and customer accounts.
  • Develop and maintain consistent forecasting accuracy; report updates to the Territory Sales Supervisor.
  • Accurately manage and record sales data using SAP CRM, Outlook, spreadsheets, and other tools.
  • Contribute to marketing and sales strategies that support growth targets within assigned categories.
  • Analyze local market trends to identify challenges and opportunities for business expansion.
  • Ensure timely and professional resolution of customer issues and complaints, fostering high customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers to ensure loyalty and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including service specialists, commercial operations, and marketing to support growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with sales communications such as personalized emails, product guides, bulk mailings, pitches, and special quotes.
  • Provide insights and support to optimize territory alignment and account management alongside the Sales Supervisor.
  • Travel approximately 30% of the time for customer meetings, product demonstrations, seminars, vendor shows, and conventions.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Candidates must have experience working in the "Life Sciences Field".
  • Strong sales drive. Proven ability to sell and consistently exceed sales quotas.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a life sciences discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of laboratory experience or customer-facing experience, preferably within life sciences.
  • Technical competency in product knowledge, product application and product positioning. Strong understanding of the consultative sales approach.
  • Attention to detail including excellent organizational, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Decision-making: Ability to analyze data, evaluate options, and make decisions.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving competency in handling product issues, sales issues, and customer issues.
  • Good time management skills in implementing and executing successful plans of action that balance sales activities with customer needs and account development.
